New Website On The Way!

Over the close season, we will be preparing a completely new website, that we hope will give our readers a site that is easier to read, with additional information and new features. We will also be adding extra facilities for our members, such as a forum and personal messaging.

The website will be unavailable for a time at the beginning of June so we can put the finishing touches to the new site.

We look forward to welcoming you to our new site before the beginning of the new season!
Public Meeting
Tuesday, 16 October 2007

The Sky Blue Trust are giving supporters of Coventry City Football Club the opportunity to ask the questions THEY want answered by Coventry City Football Club, Coventry City Council. The Higgs Charity and Arena Coventry Limited.

A public meeting has been arranged at Hen Lane Social Club, Beacon Road, Holbrooks, Coventry on Wednesday 24th October 2007 at 7.30pm at which details will be given from the meetings the Sky Blue Trust has already had with the Football Club, the City Council and the Higgs Charity.

Coventry City deserves a full-time, first class professional football club and the Trust is seeking to work with all parties to ensure the continue survival of Coventry City Football Club. We implore as many supporters as possible to attend this meeting to show the level of support the Football Club has and to give them the option to have questions they may have answered or asked at a later meeting with the relevant people on their behalf.

Coventry Times answers supporters concerns...
Monday, 15 October 2007

From Les Reid, Coventry Times, and a City fan of 20 years.

Just to answer a few concerns on fans' websites:

* we do have a website -
www.timeslive.com - the appeal is up-and-running on it now

* We go out to nearly 100 per cent of homes in the city - 120,000 homes. Therefore we hope we

can reach more than just active City fans.

* We approached Joe Elliott on Thursday last week saying we wanted to do a big fundraising

campaign to help the club. He linked us up with the Sky Blue Trust and we launched it on our

website that day

* See this week's Coventry Times or the website for five pages of coverage, including big name

interviews and features on the academy, which is the future of the club and will get the

proceeds

* I'm sure our sister paper the Coventry Telegraph next door to us will cover the campaign, and

BBC Coventry and Warwickshire already have done

* We have posters with campaign logos (John Sillett saying YOUR CITY NEEDS YOU), and details of how to donate or raise funds

* Some volunteers would be great to help me and the Trust get posters up at every pub and

workplace in the city. Please get in touch - 024 7650 0556 or This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it

* Please get behind us and the Trust and make this the biggest ever fundraising event for CCFC

by supporters and the city
