The Sky Blue Trust wishes to send condolences to the family and friends of Sir Derek Higgs who sadly passed away yesterday (28th April 2008).

Sir Derek, a former director of Coventry City Football Club and also a director of Arena Coventry Limited did a tremendous amount to help the football club in times of trouble prior to the successful takeover by Ray Ranson and SISU.

Natalie Cox, media co-ordinator for the Trust said “Sir Derek was Coventry through and through and has given a great deal not only to the football club but to the city as a whole including fantastic facilities for the local communities in Stoke Aldermoor and Tile Hill.”
