Coventry City fans have the opportunity of winning
£10,000 for themselves and £250,000 to spend on a new player for the
Sky Blues with the launch of Coca Cola's biggest ever domestic football
promotion.
The company is giving football fans the chance to 'Win a Player'*, worth up to £1/4m, for their beloved football club. The promotion, which is open to fans of clubs from the Coca-Cola Football League & The Scottish Premier League, runs for 80 days from March 8th and will be featured on over 200 million specially designed packs across the UK. Every fan enjoys playing team manager from the terraces; from changing the formation from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 during the game, to substituting half the team - the fans know best! Finally, Coca-Cola is giving them a chance to put their money where their mouth is and help shape their team and their clubs future. The Coca-Cola 'Win a Player' promotion encourages fans to come together in support of their football club. Fans can enter via text** or online (www.coca-colafootball.co.uk) once a day, every day, for as long as the promotion runs. The winning fan will be awarded the unique and enviable experience of presenting their much-loved football club with a cheque to be spent on a new player, or players, to the value of £1/4m. They will also, no doubt, take the opportunity to tell their club exactly who they think the money should be spent on! The winner will not only help shape their club's future, with the new signing, but as a special reward for their support, will also receive a personal cheque for £10,000. To put this amount into context, of the 385*** transfers that have taken place this season only 18**** have met or exceeded the £1/4m, landmark figure across the entire Coca-Cola Football League in the current 04/05 season.
