A special night for Micky Gynn.

Coventry City fans showed their appreciation for Micky Gynn last night (15-Apr-05) at the testimonial party arranged by the Sky Blue Trust.

During the night Micky was presented with cheques by both Coventry City Supporters Club and the Trust. Through a combination of the party and a special testimonial badge, the Trust raised in excess of £1,000 for the 1987 FA Cup winner's testimonial fund (The exact amount raised is still being totted up and will be published on this website in due course).

Micky was taken aback by these presentations and thanked everyone for their support, but the presentations were not finished there - both Micky and Trust President Dave Bennett were presented with honorary life memberships of the Trust.

The two former team-mates then made a great double-act as they fielded questions from those in attendance before meeting the fans and signing items.

A big thank you for all those who attended and contributed.

Micky Gynn's testimonial takes place this Tuesday (19-Apr-05) and tickets are on sale at both CCFC ticket offices priced £10 adults and £5 concessions.
